Q Space

Q Space is a voluntary group for LGBTQ+ people in Northamptonshire. It was established in 2016 to support the LGBTQ+ community in mind, body, and spirit. Q Space is based at the Doddridge Centre in Northampton, however, they hope to create their own community space in the future.

Oral History – Tish S

Tish S is a 30-year-old non- binary, bisexual person who has lived in Northampton for most of their life. Tish’s family are of Indian heritage and their parents are from Kenya where their family migrated. Tish is a volunteer for Q Space and is setting up a community café in Northampton, designed to be a safe space for people of colour and LGBTQ+ people.
